Fear Hazard

One of the main conclusions that economists have drawn from the Great Depression is that FDR ended up creating a climate of business insecurity where no one was able to predict the government’s next move.

Well, it’s more than a week now that the US government has been keeping us in suspense, threatening to give a lot of money to the most addicted gamblers in our society, with the hope that satisfying their thirst will somehow trickle down to the rest of the economy. The world is watching and our political class is under extreme pressure. Expect the worst.
